No cards but a cardi!!!

Hello ;-D
I have been finishing off a project which I started in January........one of my other 'hobby loves' is knitting.......you could say I am currently at the 'obsessed' stage again with lots of knitty projects on the go! and not enough hours in the day to 'feed my obsession' x

I love the knitting but I am not so keen on the sewing together, however I thought I should get this finished and also my daughter was keen to wear it as the weather has taken a turn for the worse again!! So.......................here it is......................

AKA Rhianna's Hoodie!

She loves it and has worn it to work every day so far! I guess until the weather changes again she won't want to take it off!!

I do have some 'papery' projects on the go as well, ready for my class next Tuesday...........some lovely new goodies from the BRAND NEW Mini catalogue starting on 1st May......so watch this space! and don't forget you still have several days to place an order with me to take advantage of the current special offer of FREE papers! ALL projects whether they be paper or yarn are taking a backseat at the moment whilst I complete a blanket for Battersea Dogs Home...........if you think you may like to help check this link for details and a pattern......

What is copyright?

Copyright is one of the main types of intellectual property - others include designs, patents and trademarks. Intellectual property allows a person to own things they create in the same way as something physical can be owned. It is the right to prevent others copying or reproducing someone's work.

The main legislation dealing with copyright in the United Kingdom is the Copyright, Design and Patents Act, 1988.

When does copyright arise?

Copyright arises automatically when a work that qualifies for protection is created. The work must be original in that it needs to originate with the author who will have used some judgment or skill to create the work - simply copying a work does not make it original. There is no need in the UK to register copyright. When an idea is committed to paper or another fixed form, it can be protected by copyright. It is the expression of the idea that is protected and not the idea itself.
