What a little beauty!!

I was chatting to Victoria on Sunday at training and she said that she would like to see this gorgeous picture of my beautiful Granddaughter Louise Ann Houghton

As you can see it is a photo of a photo! Darren & Justine took the girls to Milton Keynes on the 21st of June and had several photos done in Mothercare from a visiting studio. This is the gorgeous one they ordered for me & Granddad and i adore it!!!! Louise was four weeks old in this photo and she looks good enough to eat!!!! I love her to bits :)

We have since ordered another photo, same size as this one 8" x 10" of my two gorgeous girls together and i will show you that one soon, as we won't be getting it until the 2nd of August.

While i am here i thought i would show you a card i made to match the box from the 3rd of July (just scroll down a bit to find the box!)

supplies
card - Always Artichoke, and Choc Chip
punches - Scallop Circle, 2 step Bird, Corner Rounder
DSP & Sentiment Sticker from 'Christmas Jingle' scrapping kit
Very Vanilla 5/8" grosgrain ribbon

Peterborough Training

We had such a good day yesterday, and such a laugh too! oh, and we also found time to craft as well............Here are a couple of cards that Monica designed for us .....................

I changed little bits of them ever so slightly, but aren't they fab!! It was so great to see everyone and meet some new faces as well and often we spend too much time chatting and don't get the projects finished on the day...............the other three things we made are all 3D items and i will show you those another time.............I also was lucky enough to win a raffle prize too!

We had the pleasure of watching Carole and Marlene, who were showing us some fabulous ideas for clear glass baubles and how to make gorgeous roses from stamped images using the largest flower from Vintage Vogue!

I am currently buried under a huge pile of Christmas samples and raffle prizes, not to mention mounds of stamps and paper, glitter etc etc......................getting ready for my all day 'Christmas in July' event this coming Saturday...............I still have room for a few more if you would like to come along :)

Thanks for popping in today, see you soon..............

Sketch Frenzy Friday - SFF 0709

Hi Everyone!
The lovely Sharon visited me yesterday and in doing so made me aware of a 'new to me' challenge!

Sketch Frenzy Friday

Loved the sketch, so here is a little card i made this morning.................and a little tip! don't throw away those tiny scraps of DSP...........these squares are just an inch in size but are perfect for this particular sketch...............................

It's a bit bizarre making Christmas cards today as it is blazing hot here in Bedford................I have three fans going though so i am managing to keep cool :)
If you are stuck for a layout today why not try the sketch too!

Kraft, Choc Chip, Old Olive & Whisper White card
Choc Chip, Rose Red & Versamark inks
