Blog Hop for the new Mini catalogue

Hello Everyone, i hope you have all recovered from losing an hour's sleep!! If you are anything like me, sleep is something i find wasteful and i stay up till all hours doing what i love......Stamping!!

You may have noticed that i have mentioned a new Mini catalogue which launches on April 1st and myself and several other demonstrators have a 'Blog Hop' for you today to hopefully give you lots of inspiration for all the fabulous brand new products that are available to you in the new catalogue.

Easter Chick.......just for fun!

I made my own little chick for my Easter projects using some of the Stampin' Up! punches......he is not anatomically correct but rather cute all the same!! You can see him here on my basket.....

Assemble as shown and add eye detail with Chocolate Chip marker

Vintage Vogue......

.....is one of the gorgeous new stamp sets in the Mini Catalogue which launches on the 1st of April and i couldn't wait to get my hands on it and start playing. One of the many benefits of being a demonstrator is being able to pre-order the new things a little bit early......
These are my first attempts with Vintage Vogue......

Easter projects and cards

At my stamping class this week my ladies made a start on some Easter projects........i had seen this cute basket over on SCS and decided to have a go at making one myself.............
I didn't get around to placing an order for 'A Good Egg' stamp set but still wanted a cute chick to add to my basket...........after sitting staring at my punches for several minutes i came up with this little guy!! I'm rather pleased with this as usually my attempts with punch art end up looking scary rather than cute! What do you think of him?
This uses some more of the lovely papers from the 'Sweet Pea' stack in the new mini launching on 1st April

I made 30 swaps for regionals in Coventry so used an extra one to make the card below, along with another cute little basket........this time from Angie Kennedy Juda aka 'Chic n Scratch'...............

I am SO in love with the brand new Extra large 2 step Bird Punch(also from the new mini) it will certainly be getting a 'work out' over the next few months!! I also made one more card with an Easter cutie.......but as that one uses some of my older stash i could not show it here, if you would like to see it then you will need to pop over to my 'old' blog Carol's Paperplayce, you can have a nose around there and see what i used to get up to before Stampin' Up! ;-D

Coventry was fab!!!

Hi Everyone,
I met so many lovely people in Coventry today, i could have chatted more if we had more time!! It was so good to put real people to all the faces on ILWS, some i recognised and some i didn't.......I would like to say a special Hello to Ann(crafty squirrel) Tracey R, Jacqui Calladine, Lesley and Pamela........and also Vic(Blue Jelly) and Peg Coombes...............so many who's names escape me sorry!!

I promised i would pop back and show you my swaps and my demo project in full......no surprises to spoil now so here they are.................similar but different.........3 lots of ten, utilising the adorable new 2 step Bird Punch and some fabulous 'dotty' paper from the Sweet Pea' stack in the new mini catalogue

The end of a lovely day.......

Hi Everyone, I hope you have all had a wonderful Mother's Day....................my day was very relaxed and with a mixture of family and a little crafting as well...............perfect!

My eldest daughter Chloe was up from Essex for the weekend, her partner Alan was away on business in Germany, so he missed out on a gorgeous roast dinner..... my lovely husband prepped all the veg etc and then Chloe cooked it all whilst Andy was out delivering some Soft Play............I was not allowed in the kitchen even to stir the gravy!!!! Chloe timed it perfectly so that all she had to do was dish up when Andy returned, she even had a compliment from Rhianna.....................and yes Chloe, the roast potatoes were lush!!!

Now then, i don't really have any crafty stuff that i can show you today, but i do have a couple of sneaky peeks at my swaps and my Demo choice project for regional training in Coventry on Thursday............I'm so excited!!!

I'm afraid it is only a little portion of the card as i don't want to give the game away!! Made 30 of these...................switching the design slightly...so three lots of ten!
But only 1 of these........................

This is my Demonstrator choice project................i have to say i am very pleased with how this has turned out, not only does it showcase several of the newest products but it will also be something to treasure afterwards.............................. and i hope you come back and visit on Thursday night to see the projects revealed and the lowdown on the days events!

Quick sketch card!

'Flight of the Butterfly' Stamp Class

At last i've managed to take some photo's of my 'Flight of the Butterfly' stamp class which were the projects for my regular Tuesday class this week.

It took me much longer than usual to complete this class and i have only just started to type this up into PDF format............as soon as i have finished sorting it out it will be available to purchase via Paypal. The PDF will consist of detailed instuctions for making the handbag and the four cards with clear step by step photo's and a full supply list.

Pink Parcels & More Max!

Just thought i would pop back and show you what was inside the pink parcels from my post the other day.......................
You may have guessed?? My little way of rewarding all the lovely ladies in my Stampers 10 Groups 1 & 2........ I try to give them a little something each month and of course Sale-a Bration enabled me to gather a few sets to split between everyone :) these pictures are from my regular Tuesday stamp classes, so i was able to give them in person......... and of course i posted out the ones that live too far for me to deliver.....
